Composite Filings

Our office is entirely mercury-free, and we do not use metal fillings. Instead, we apply composite type fillings made of thin, durable, tooth-colored resin to fill in teeth that have been injured or that have cavities. Compositve fillings are virtually undetectable and make teeth more durable and stronger because they are bonded into place. Composite fillings are not only used for restoring decay, but are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color of the teeth or reshaping disfigured teeth.
